My Initials are MLF, so my friends call me "Milf." This is a blog about policies I hate and music I love.

“The Republican runoff for governor in Georgia was too close to call Wednesday morning. Karen Handel, a former Georgia secretary of state who was endorsed by Sarah Palin, was roughly 2,500 votes behind Nathan Deal, a former congressman who received endorsements from Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, and Newt Gingrich, the former speaker of the House. Ms. Palin, Mr. Huckabee and Mr. Gingrich are all presumed presidential hopefuls in 2012”
What a tough decision: vote for the candidate endorsed by the quite-possibly-insane gun-nut, or for the politician whose endorsement probably came in the form of a televised guitar-song. You have to feel bad for the voters.
Left: You are sneaking a peek, in the middle of the night, at your sweet new boyfriend’s computer … and discovering e-mails to and from his three current “other” girlfriends. Center: You are a Park Avenue matron, paying your husband a surprise visit at his office and discovering him on the couch in flagrante delicto with his secretary. Right: You are a disoriented homeless woman being arrested for loitering.
take a few minutes and go through the whole set, jane krakowski & john malkovich’s sets are also great.
These are absolutely wonderful. Jeff Goldblum’s is pretty great, and Hugh Laurie’s last face is perfect.
This is incredible. Its actually even more fun to go through them once, and then go through them again deliberately mixing up the left and right.

“These Days” - Nico
I love this song. Nico led an amazing life. The world may have become too big for someone like her to ever happen again.
“These days I sit on corner stones
And count the time in quarter tones to ten.
Please don’t confront me with my failures,
I had not forgotten them.”
